Important Update from Power of 100
Hey friends, Emily and Ella here.
It’s been a minute. We hope you are finding joy, support and connection in These Times. Over here, we are taking baby steps to be back out in the world after what we’ll call our “hibernation”.
We want to share an important update with you. We have decided we will not host Power of 100’s Pitchfest this year. We’ll be back in 2022, but in the meantime, here’s what you can expect from us:
We’ll continue to amplify action alerts for community organizations and local businesses we admire. Slide into our DMs or email us if you want us to amplify your work.
We’ll experiment with a super chill meet up for folks to keep connecting about good work and ways to plug in to support it. If you want details, be sure you’re on our email list (link in bio).
If you want a suggestion about where to give the $100 you’d normally contribute at Pitchfest, please consider making a 2nd or a reoccurring gift to one of the community organizations you learned about at Power of 100’s Pitchfest:
2020 Pitchfest organizations: Lower Phalen Creek Project, Planting People Growing Justice Leadership Institute and Midwest Mixed
2019 Pitchfest organizations: Voices for Racial Justice, Family Tree Clinic, and Women for Political Change.
2018 Pitchfest organizations: Minnesota Prison Doula Project, The Women’s Prison Book Project and Jack’s Basket
Until we see you again, be well and take care of one another.
xo, Emily + Ella
